What is it about being on the subway in Toronto that makes people go absolutely insane? Today this one girl (who was actually kind of cute) was mouthing the words to something silently while starring straight ahead. She did not stop even when I looked at her all annoyed and confused. I can only assume she has some kind of OCD, and who wouldn't being on that train!?
I feel pretty crazy myself when I sit down on it. I am just waiting for something strange or gross to happen and usually it does! If you are paranoid, it will come. Is that not the saying? My heart starts beating fast, and I can barely breathe when on the subway. I think its a giant anti-CNN conspirarcy...Anyways, just when I thought I have seen and heard all I would for the day, my worst nightmare (and surely OCD girl's as well) came true...
This woman came on and started chowing down on a harvy's hamburger which her bare hands. Plus, she was licking her fingers! Ew!!! She did look completely satisfied afterwards, however, and the burger did look very good but come on people! Please show some edicate...no one is that busy that they have to down a big rubbery meat thing with their germ invested hands, are they?
OCD girl got off at the next stop and I think it was more than just a coincidence...

this is why i am a germophobe. this is why i do not touch ttc rails, doors or anything and wash my hands immediately when i get to teh place i am going. dear god. your right..no one is that busy that they can't eat a hamburger in a restaurant. the ttc is not where one needs to cut their toenails, its not a garbage dump, its not a bathroom and for sure not a kitchen. ugh.
